The Best & Easiest Tuna Melt Casserole

This Tuna Casserole recipe is full of tasteful flavors and easy to make.


For most of us, tuna casserole is a family favorite. Just like most of our other classics, baked spaghetti, and mac & cheese. It's full of sauce, cheese, and amazing savory flavors. Let's get into making one of our easiest meals, "Tuna Melt Casserole".

 

Yield: 8 servings Cook time: 18 minutes Level: Easy Total time: 22 minutes

 

Ingredients

1 box Barilla elbow noodles

1 bag of Wellsley Farm 2- cheese Colby jack/ medium cheddar

1 white onion

3 hand fulls of Brussel sprouts

3 cans of tuna ( no oil)

2 Bertolli alfredo sauce

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp pepper

1 tsp smoked paprika

1 tbsp grapeseed oil



Directions

  1. Follow the directions on the box and boil your noodles.

  2. While your noodles are boiling, saute your diced onions and half-cut Brussel sprouts. Add in 1 tbsp of grapeseed oil, salt, and pepper for 4 minutes on medium-low (veggies should look like this picture, on the right).

  3. Drain your tuna, and set it to the side.

4. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Also, use a light grease baking dish for casserole.

5. Drain your cooked pasta and place it back into the pot. Turn your range to low, then add 1 container of Bertolli alfredo sauce, saute veggies, tuna, and half of the bag of cheese. Mix into cheese is melted. ( amount depends on how creamy you want your pasta, if not enough add the other alfredo jar, by small amounts at a time)

6. After, combine your pasta into the lightly greased baking dish, top of the tuna casserole with the remaining cheese, then cook for 10 minutes.

7. Once done, let it stand for a few minutes, Enjoy!
