5 Things to Remember When People Don't Support You

When people don't support your dream, it's not that they don't believe you can reach it, it's that they don't like where they will be sitting when it comes true. - Dr. Billy Alsbrooks

You probably may not be going the same route as your Peers, right? and started to question your next shift in life. However, your friends and family may think otherwise and have a different opinion about your life.

Even though you thought they would've supported your every goal in life. What a discouraging feeling!

However, I think it boils down to, how bad do you want that vision to happen? Also, when are you going to realize to not care about anyone's opinions? and, understand that everyone's minds work differently.

I've come up with a couple of suggestions that I hope will help through your transition.

1. Sometimes Individuals Are Insecure

Sometimes when people don't support you, you're probably not the problem; it's them.

It could be there not happy with how their lives going, jealous, or something abnormal to them. who knows! 🙄

2. You are strong by yourself

The top wealthy individuals didn't have anyone by their side. Most heard the word, "no", more than anything. Continue to believe, that you're powerful, strong, and won't give up.

3. Your life is your priority

Life is short. You don't have time to worry about the next person issue. Ask yourself, do you want to waste your time worrying about something that takes up too much negative energy? No!

4. Treat yourself like a queen or king

  • Listen to a podcast

  • Read a book

  • Converse with someone understanding

5. Recognize everyone don't see your vision

Sometimes your loved ones may need extra educational help on learning your new career. Perhaps growing up they were taught to live a life one way and that's all they know.
